“Over the course of the past 16 years, I became proficient in my craft which in turn made me a very successful personal trainer and Gym owner in this competitive fitness industry.

In my second year as a personal trainer I ranked #7 out of 400 plus trainers (Spectrum Athletic Clubs) in San Antonio while going to college full time. After I graduated from UTSA in the spring of 2013 with a double bachelor's degree, I continued taking on Personal Training as a full time career and never looked back.

In 2014 one year after graduation I was ranked Top 5 personal trainer in the Nation for Gold’s Gym (they bought out Spectrum Athletic Clubs) and kept my status for the next two years until I resigned in December 2015 to open up my own boutique gym ALIO Fitness Club in 2016.

MY STANCE

There is a big problem with the fitness industry today. The industry has made it too simple for individuals to become Personal Trainers! Getting easily certified has created a market saturated with personal trainers. The lack of preparation is the reason why we have one of the highest turnover rates (80-90%) of any industry.

With so much "competition" in today's market can you stand out above the rest?

I have witnessed first hand all the struggles with Personal Trainers as they come into the industry so driven yet unprepared; only to leave the business three months later with a bad taste in their mouths.

As one of the highest compensated personal trainers for two of my previous companies I trained at, I found to be true that if you undoubtedly have a passion for your job and work harder than the competition you will be highly compensated (emotionally & financially).

I’ve been on a mission to change the way people perceive personal trainers professionally..

There are six qualities that led me to become the top trainer of two highly respectable, competitive fitness corporations and now the Co-Founder of ALIO Fitness Club.

1) Personality

2) Passion

3) Drive

4) Education

5) Etiquette

6) Innovation
